CSTAR Animal Care
CSTAR's Spay Our Strays Clinic
CSTAR Animal Care Recommended Vets
At CSTAR Animal Care, we strive to make basic but crucial veterinary services such as spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchipping available to all in need in order to keep pet and free-roaming cat population numbers down, to protect against dangerous diseases such as rabies, and to increase the number of lost pets reunited with their owners, thereby lowering euthanasia rates in our local shelters. It is our hope, that over time, more veterinarians will embrace low-cost clinics like ours as a resource for those who would not otherwise have enough money to pay for these essential services rather than as competition.
By providing these fundamental services at a reduced price, we also hope to help eliminate the situation many caregivers are faced with every day, where they must decide which vital service they can afford for their pets, if any. We hope the money that caregivers will save on spay/neuter surgery, annual vaccinations, flea treatments, etc. will also make it possible for them to afford annual wellness exams, sick visits, medications, care for injuries, etc. at the full-service veterinary practices when their pets are in need of these services.

Featured Veterinary Practices
These featured veterinary practices have helped and supported our clinics right from the start. They understand the difficulties that caregivers face when they cannot afford the basics like spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations. They also understand the need for low-cost spay/neuter and services so that caregivers of feral cats can afford to fix and vaccinate all of the colony cats.
In addition to being very supportive of our program, these veterinary offices come highly recommended by volunteers and patrons of CSTAR Animal Care and the Spay Our Strays Clinic who are also clients at these practices. If you're looking for a veterinarian, please consider "supporting out supporters" and trying out one of the featured veterinary practices below.

Veterinary Practices With Extended Or Emergency Hours
You never know when an emergency will strike. Make sure you know the phone number and location of the nearest pet emergency room when your regular veterinarian's office is closed.
While we strive to keep all information on our website current, it's a good idea to periodically confirm that the contact information for the emergency veterinary hospital closest to you is still accurate so you will be prepared for an emergency.
